I especially liked (1) the bush, (2) the contortion of her body (beginning of the pulling away from the hot iron), and (3) the evil grin on the nuns face.

I'm always trying to improve.
Prior to this, only Jucundus (and maybe some of Graekas Blight) accounted for the GIMPs physical reactions. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing more of this, particularly in reaction to fire/heated implements. Even the small heat of a lighted cigarette end...

I totally agree about hot irons, burninng torchs, etc., there needs to be body movement away from it in the scene. Also it helps if the victim is watching it approaching with maybe a crying or fearful expression. If the iron/flame is actually burning her she would be as far away from it as she could manage and screaming at the top of her lungs. Those elements would always be there because they are involuntary responses. I don't care who you are, or how tough you are, no one can tolerate even a brief 3rd degree burn without these types of reactions.
