Over the years, I've really appreciated watching and dowloaded KINK videos. Look forward to pre and post interviews. But they are poorly done. The interviewer sounds as if he is 20 yards away. And some of the models don't articulate verbalizations very well. This is surprising considering the equipment they use.
So most of the time I just fast forward.
Guess it's just a given, but frustrating. But his doesn't stop me from watching! Especially the models that are cute and luscious.
A beef with KINK
Re: A beef with KINK
Like you, I have watched and downloaded many Kink videos so I decided to check this out. I started by hopping through so older videos and found that I did not have any problems with either the beginning or end videos. When I moved on the recent videos, I did find problems with some of the end videos, where, as you said, the interviewer sounds like he is quite far away.
I definately agree with out about their cute and luscious models.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to be a know-it-all or arguing. The interviewer does sound further away, but I believe it's the function of having the camera (and its on-board microphone) pointed at the performers rather than an audio problem.
In a "normal"professional interview, the interviewer and the interviewee have their own dedicated mics, or even dedicated cameras, so the dialog levels are more even. And the audio levels are generally adjusted if necessary in the post production process.
Plus I think they figure that people rarely listen to the interviews and safe-word discussions anyway.

The interviews are a way of "proving" everything that they did to the models was consensual.
No offense but I'm surprised that there are people who actually listen to those interviews.
I for one never ever took the time to listen to these interviews

Re: A beef with KINK
In my past viewings, I recall Matt requesting at least one smile during a shoot. I correlated that with the interviews pre and post. Besides limits, likes and dislikes, I get a sense in the post-interview just how it went from them. Frequently I noted the models just smiling away and have that gratified look. Can you believe some call it "fun?' Music to my ears.
And besides, you can easily fast forward and skip them. But I would hate if they were eliminated even if they are done poorly. I find Matt to be an excellent excellent interviewer.
