Wish well to both of you.

To the racking fans, found some more, just be aware they were not meant for publication, so the quality is ... iffy. But you professed such dedication, maybe you'll forgive the flaws. Some today, some tomorrow.

I know you didn't ask me, but just happened do a small arc of an inquisition rack scene. Maybe you like it.

Preparation.
JD, one of my favorite preparation scenes is the brave heroine voluntarily removing her clothing so she can be naked when she's interrogated, as you showed in your image where Marion is removing her dress before she's bound on the Rack. Of course, I like to show the heroine having her clothing forcibly stripped also. I prefer my heroines strong and brave despite the agony she is enduring. I don't go in for humiliation like many artists do, so a brave heroine voluntarily disrobing tickles my fancy.

There's a lot of stuff that people have been posting, but I'm recovering from minor surgery and could only use one arm. It made walking out to my computer somewhat risky, so I'll take a closer look in a day or two.
My best wishes for your recovery as well.

doe.1971 wrote: Sat Sep 17, 2022 11:22 am Yeah, I'm split between keeping my mouth shut and saying stuff like that cuz I'm aware I can't provide direct advice. But then, I reason that it must be a similar function in DAZ, I can point you in a good direction, at least knowing that's possible.

I put a neon tube close to a figure in the dark. The indirect light function in Poser is not perfect, one can't set up the attenuation, like one can do with a regular light (infinite light, liniar attenuation or quadratic). Maybe in DAZ they made it better.
Your comment about the attenuation of something like a hot iron is something I've got to work on. Prior to Iray, I used a lot of point sources which allowed you to attenuate the light so you don't produce a glow on a figure six feet away. But when I turn an iron rod emissive, I don't seem to have that capability any more. Or, to be honest, maybe there IS such a capability, but I haven't found a way to control it yet.

I gotta do some research... :?

Older ones. Probably published here already. Give up eventually, too little interest. Let see what I can find.

First turns.

Gotta be some others on the hard drive, I can look for them if you're into it.
Your #3, First turns, marion Clip0310.jpg, is really good composition, JD. Excellent.
