Farewell to Carlos

Post by Pedro »

I've just received the bad news about your fatal car accident... I am still hoping that this is just some wrong info or a devilish bad joke... and tomorrow we would laugh how I wrongly informed others about you passing away, but deep inside I fear this is the sad truth...

In a way or other you were near our production team almost from the beginning. You produced the Mood Casting videos, you helped finding models for us, and you appeared in several films made by us...

Probably you wouldn't count me among your closest friends, but our co-operation was not just production related. We often chatted for hours on the phone during the middle of the night talking about million other subjects than filming... Politics... health... Africa (where you was born)...

I am now sitting here like a robot for hours without the ability to control my thoughts... To cope with my feeling of paralysis I went back five years, to the first shooting we did with the reborned Mood Pictures - Martial Law III... You brought us Lyen Parker and you helped us in the production of that movie too...

I'd like to remember you with these very characteristic smiles of yours, recorded during shooting your reactions for a given scene... when you had to give a "sorry" look to Lyen's character who just received a terrible sentence from the judge ...

I even hesitate pressing the SUBMIT button for this post... like if only pressing the button would make it final and irreversible.... Rest in Peace!

I enjoyed his performance in the "Victimized" series as the actor cast as a doctor, then tasked with performing medical inspections before the "volunteers" were caned. He brought a subtle nuance to the role. He did a good job acting confused and reluctant.
