You're welcome, and I partially agree with you, petelobo. Alex sure has some beautiful girls working for him, and he is working some nice angles with his product.
But, considering the times and taboos that John Blakemore had to work with, his stuff still stands the test of time. And I think with his "Violence" series of Euro-productions, we can see what his brain was thinking of, freed of the ultra restrictive U.S. market.
In some ways being filmed in the 70's and 80's had its own advantages, like the cruelly thin and narrow straps he used to sometimes secure his models/actresses with. I'd really like to see those narrow straps again, rather than the commercially available bdsm restraints currently in use. And these days even when they use rope, they use more than what is required, I think to provide extra support and even some comfort to the actress being bound. When extra rope is used for safety, like when suspending a girl, and the ropes are load-bearing, understandable, but more than 2 or 3 wraps...
And as far as models/actresses, we'll maybe call it even. I mean John Blakemore had Renee Baker, Georgia Van Helsing, Sharon Montgomery, Toni Stern, and a host of others. We're just fortunate beautiful girls around the world don't mind suffering for our pleasure.
