The perils of Jennifer

Re: The perils of Jennifer
Another (though more earnest comedian in terms of lives lost) Charles V is reputed to have said that German was the language he used to speak to his horses. There is also a story by H H Munro aka Saki (I can't remember the title) where the main character teaches cats to speak English. At first it is amusing, but then it gets nasty when the cats start revealing uncomfortable secrets about his aristocratic friends. So, he is never invited again to spend time with them. At story's end, one of the former friends ask whatever became of him. Someone answers that he was trampled by irate elephants in a zoo as he was trying to teach them the declension of German verbs.
End of Germanic aside, no more interrupting the perils of poor Jennifer. She is the center of attention here.
Re: The perils of Jennifer
Comedy wise he was in a class by himself.

@ Wulf and doe.1971, I sense there is a parallel subplot going on here.
