JD's bazaar
Re: JD's bazaar
In the morning she is taken for appraissal to the slavers. All the prisoners caught in the last week are for sale there. As it's customary, the wives of the fallen tribe members are also sold to help the tribe. In the middle of the village an odd wooden contraption attracts her attention.
Without much ceremony, she made to bend on that wooden bench while the slavers are probing her muscles, breasts and tightness of her pussy.
When they are content with what they found, she's made to go round, then thrown on her belly on the longer side of the stand. While her yoke rests on the wooden supports, her legs are tied securely to metal rings positioned far apart, on the frame. She's prepared for branding like all the other slaves before her.

And finally, the last part of the story on the Nubian warrior turned slave.
After branding, the leg irons are hammered in place.
The new slaves are now leaving the Pygmy village, on their way to Dulla, where they will intersect paths briefly with some white sorceresses from the North on a huge wheel of pain. But that's a story for another day.

And to maintain consistency of the story an older image in the serie need to be replace with this one, showing a branded slave.
Re: JD's bazaar
As one who is used to frosty receptions, I would say pay it no mind. I said it was a great series, not only because of the art but also because of the flow of the story. If it were a movie (which it reminded me of), I would say the script was good. I'm not much into the slavery, slave market thing, but a good story is a good story, no matter what your particular proclivities may be.
Re: JD's bazaar
Your works are always a blessing. I cannot say, however, that this specific series was on par with the Witcher universe works (I am talking about my personal liking, not about quality). The yoke is nice, and one of the easiest setups to "substitute" real world people into... but that bonus is offset by the fact I personally know very few women of African descent. Another factor is that your warrior here has no background. The same series of images, even without more classic props like whipping posts, racks, wooden horses (or WHEELS!) would have been more exciting to me if it had been about some historical or literature grounded heroine. Cleopatra, Lara Croft, Xena... anonymous curvy masai girl does not score extremely high on my personal you-know-what meter.
Just my opinion of course. And of course I saved them in my JD folder all the same.
Re: JD's bazaar
Sorry for my lack of feedback, I've been busy with other stuff.
Definitely a series to keep in my JD's "misc" folder. I especially like the sequence of her being locked in the stocks and the one where her ankle fetters are being hammered on. It's a very sexy moment, the process by which a girl's physical liberty is taken away. Reminds me of your other great scene, where the Witcher girls were being chained to the oars. Scenes like these are all the more powerful when the restraints are meant to be a semi-permanent, long-term or never-to-be-removed type of deal.
The other interesting aspect of this series is that we get to see how the life of this girl intersects with the Witcher girls' fate. To this black women, Ciri and the 2 sorceresses are just 3 white girls, condemned to slavery. In short, nobodies. Talk about fall from grace.
