And why did I notice that? :?

Master Serpent - Needles And Skewers
(I'm not sure that video is named correctly)
Are they not supposed to be like that?
On a completely unrelated topic: I need to go and do... A thing.
Nope, the extension cord is not a hot girl, and you should restrain yourself from filling every hole in it. ( ) So yeah, unplug some appliances from it before you require a fire extinguisher.

No offense but I think you need a basic course in electricity. There is no problem in using all the outlets of such an extension cord as long as the total power stays below their rated power. What would be the purpose of such extension cords if you couldn't use all available "holes".
However, what strikes me is the bunch of cables lying randomly on the floor. Now that's a real risk, one could be tripping over those wires and hurt himself ;)

No offense taken, dear colleague. :)

Information about the maximum W of every extension cord is usually imprinted somewhere in the plastic casing. For example, the extension cord next to my desk can withstand a total of 3680W.

People usually do not subtract the maximum number of W that is imprinted on the extension cord casing from the maximum consumption of plugged-in devices. So if you plug in half of dozen small electricity consumers you are going to be fine, but try that with a stove, a washing machine, a heater, an air conditioner, etc. (no, don't do that)

Of course, I have no idea what devices Master Serpent did plugged-in, how many devices are used at the same time, or anything else - I just find the number of filled sockets funny.

And yeah, his cable management sucks!

PS: Hope this text is readable. English and electricity ... I usually do not mix those two.
