Daily Registration Trends

We have been receiving a steady stream of user registrations every day. However, fewer than 20% of these users send an email to request activation of their accounts.

Bot Detection and Manual Activation

It is evident that the majority of these registrations are generated by bots. To counteract this, we carefully review usernames that appear legitimate. When we confirm that their email addresses are authentic, we proceed to activate these accounts without waiting for an email request.

Handling Untrusted Email Addresses

There are certain email addresses that we do not trust. In such cases, we choose not to activate those accounts.

We maintain a policy that new users must contact us directly to have their accounts activated.
