Besides I agree Steeltoiz’s comments, I cannot imagine Ariel goes so sexy when she become obedient. Perfection.

I am sincerely delighted to read that somebody became intereste din the Hungarian culture because of our films. In private with friends here I used to talk about our country with those who show interest. Right, we have some words originatic from Slavic and Turkish languages, but what I hear is that our language doesn't sound similar to any other language. This is something I cannot judge as a native speaker. But wondering whether anybody can desrive the sound of Hungarian. How does it sounds compared to other better known languages?

For example Italian is know for it's beautiful rythmical characteristic.
Chinese sounds a way I cannot even repeat a sentence, because it is so different from any European languages. (Unlike Japanese which is much closer to the familiar languages)
French is like a soft music to the ear, like erotica, like sex.
German is quite coarse compared to the neo-latin ones.... Very interesting but portugal, which is also a neo-latin for me rather sounds like a slavic than a latin...

So in the end of the day... any one can descibe how our Hungarian language sounds to the ear of a foreigner?

I am really interested.
When I met Jac, in Szeged, loooooong ago, he was trying to come to terms with Hungarian. We communicated in Italian and a bit of English. I was studying Italian Literature and on my way to the beautiful city of Perugia with a scholarship for a year.

To Jac, the sound of Hungarian was flat. It didn't have the rhythm of Italian or Spanish, or even English. Not to mention French that has it's own amazing beauty. But in time he started to appreciate it. He thought it was strange that the word for love was so not romantic. Szerelem. He didn't think that saying Szeretlek to somebody expressed what he felt. Specially since, to him, the accent, or emphasis, in ALL of the words in Hungarian was in the first syllable.

But now his favorite poem in all of universal literature is Szabadság, szerelem!

He comes from a family of famous poets and painters so he knows something about the arts.

In the TV miniseries El Hombre De La Luna, which he produced and directed there's this line at one critical moment in the story, when Beautiful Camille is about to be rescued, the line is in the very dramatic music, it's in Hungarian and spoken, almost whispered, by a woman:

...azért jöttél, hogy idő előtt gyötörj minket?

In the picture below, me, during the production of the TV miniseries

ElHombreDeLaLuna004.jpg

When I studied Italian literature, I also dabbled in linguistics, a bit, so, Hungarian is a Uralic language with linguistic roots common to the traditional Finno-Ugric languages that includes Finnish and Estonian. But as with any language in the planet it has influences from neighboring countries, like Turkey, but those influences go back and forth.

What I found incredible is that Aymara, one of the native languages in the Andes, has similar structure to Hungarian, even words with the same or similar meaning, like cat, macska, when spoken, it sounds very much like michi, in Aymara.

So, that's my take on this subject. Now the famous poem

Szabadság, szerelem!
E kettő kell nekem.
Szerelmemért föláldozom
Az életet,
Szabadságért föláldozom
Szerelmemet.

Freedom Love!
This two I must have.
For my love I sacrifice
My Life
For freedom I sacrifice
My Love

BTW, the spirit of the poem is in Jac's film Martyr Or The Death of St Eulalia, when Natasha, tells Camille how Tadeusz deals with the women in his life and how he feels about her.

Martyr012800.jpg

Sorry if I got too annoying. Maybe because it's Jac's and my birthday and I got sentimental.
Lastly, me, sharing a page in a TV guide with none other than famous Camille.

what would have happened if Tatijana asked Ariel to lay down and raise her feet for punishment (bastinado0) instead of back :)
:D :D :D I wish in the near future we see Tatijana and Ariel punished by bastinado we saw already the lady Amanda :)

The only thing I regret is that after her disqualification, if Ariel can continue dressed as a domina I would have found it sexier if she had to do this naked all because this way she gets the chance to do something back against the conspiracy of Amanda and Tatyana opposite her
Pedro I hope you make another film where she can also take out her anger on Tatjana
also i agree with Steeloiz

Pedro, Hungarian sounds like nothing else because it is not an Indo-European language, which is the enormous family of languages that covers all the romance, germanic, etc, languages that we are so familiar with. (Two other such languages are Catalonian and Finnish.)

The Magyrs conquered Hungary about 1050AD by pushing off the people already there, just like Americans did to natives, and many other ethnic groups did likewise. There is a statue in Budapest celebrating the ethnic cleansing. That statue would have been torn to pieces last year in USA. I saw statue when visiting Budapest with spouse and had to stick to tourist stuff, so I could not stop by Mood/EP to shake your hand and view a shooting.

What is this site, Anthropology :?:

Please keep making your magnificent videos. Perhaps in some Q&A game you could work in that the Hungarian girls are so incredibly tough in submissive modes because of their Magyr background. God they can stand up to some horrific beatings. As a group they outclass everyone in this genre.

Cheers, HT :D :D :D

I also feel sad for Ariel, who suffer a lot ,and for once, is humble.
But
Tatjana was right about this correct count.
The referee watches the dom, her opinion prevails.
The host always sided with the punisher.
So I think that this game is not more unfair than the previous ones ... Until now.

Thank you Margot for your comment about our language. I am extremely surprised that you know so much about us Hungarians, you eveen know our literature... Wow!!!!

I totally understand what you mean by that Hungarian is flat. You are correct, emphasis has very little significance in our spoken language. Unlike for example italian, where words have different meaning if the emphasis moves.
Like papa - papá are two different words.

Yes, in Hungarian empphasis is almost always on the first syllable, but in most cases we use emphasis in the word only if we want to give emphasis to the word within a sentence.

Learning that Hungarian poems are used in Jac's works... well, honestly I am speechless... !!!!

It was pre-set that in case punishment must be applied, it will be executed as you see in the movie.

hornythumb honestly I have no clue which statue you mention as celebrating ethnic cleansing. I actually suspect a partial misunderstanding in this case. Do you remember anything about that which would help me to identify it?
I also feel sad for Ariel, who suffer a lot ,and for once, is humble.
The only reason I am happy that Ariel disqualified herself is because she did not look too good after her second back whipping round... perhaps another round would have been too much for her....

Working on Ariel's second whipping now. What I observe is the fantastic movement Amanda does during the whipping. I have the feeling that all of her body enjoys this work... LOL

Have we ever seen Amanda doing the whipping totally naked??? I guess no.... You might see Ariel's shadow AOH at the left on the wall being pushed slightly due to the force of the stroke.

(My dear Amanda, she kept on that collar just because she knows I love that on her!!)
