This is a favorite scenario of mine, so I'm providing these ladies their own thread, innocent, virtuous, civic-minded ladies of any age who go door-to-door in their neighborhoods, perhaps collecting for a charity or circulating a petition. They fail to check the sexual offenders registry, and they have the misfortune of knocking on the WRONG door.

She couldn't know that in apartment 3.1 lived a peculiar, solitary guy whose life goal and obsession was to eliminate tattoos from girls.
