So I've been enjoying some of the Chinese BDSM stuff available. I keep wondering where it's actually from? Distributors like ChinaKB.jp say the producers are in mainland China, but I highly doubt that's true.

Maybe from Singapore or Taiwan?

Yes, I actually personally know and communicated with some of the women in those videos. It is illegal in China to post anything nude, if found out, the women will be arrested and actually tortured. However, people somehow hide the BDSM story in their "revolutionary female hero of the great war" fantacy. Well, illegal is exactly what it means, illegal. So, there would be no legit supplies, directors, actress, pay, and no website. That also means people did it for the love it and may be make some money on the way. It also means piracy is out of control. I believe all the movies from that kb.jp website violated the rights of the original creators and actresses of the movies, but there is nothing anyone can do anything about.

I think none of the material with nudity is actually coming from mainland China, it's probably produced in the USA or Japan with models with Chinese roots but not living in mainland China.

The fact that the flag of Taiwan is so prominently displayed says much. But it leads to more questions:

Were these films shot and produced in Taiwan? Or were they shot elsewhere and they were trying to show a Tawainese connection? Or maybe they were shot on mainland China but they were reluctant to show a Chinese flag?

I would think there are severe penalties in mainland China for this sort of thing?
