Bringing back the DYI torture thread. Common items from around the house and garage, and what one might find in your local hardware store.

I'll begin with some standard items most folks have, and guaranteed to cause a great deal of discomfort to your playmate.

A few of my favorites.

A suitable test subject?

Of course you don't need blood at all; some of the more tortures are psychological. So let's go outside into the forest for a bit.
I give you:
Stinging nettles (for anyone outside Europe, these give an incredibly painful rash on contact- Farrel used them in some of his torture art)
Slugs. Completely harmless, but being tied naked and covered in these will break anyone, especially as they seek dark places to hide.
Weather. Tied naked in a forest in Winter. The cold is a killer.

Sore feet

Not exactly homemade… but I do appreciate a scene in which the psychopath kidnapper has laid out his implements neatly, and in full view of the hapless damsel. Sometimes some blunt, rusty old tools fit the mood… other times a nice clean, chrome tray with glistening metal blades will do the trick.

I appreciate the homegrown ingenuity here, but I was referring re-purposing mundane everyday tools for torture. I did say DIY though, so we'll go with it. Nice foot torture piece, btw.

Oh yes.... they show lots of prior use, and that sends a chilling message to the helpless victim waiting for it to begin.
