Although I've never been a fan of the scenario depicted on this cover, I've liked the model (who appeared on a number of other covers) and her see-through bra. Thanks to AI, we can see her the way we wanted to 40 years ago. Also, there were a number of good results in the attempts on this one, and a fair number of not so good results, which is typical... in fact, this one had better results than average, and the NSFW filter didn't kick in even once. The AI took her skin spots and interpreted them nicely (I think) when I added the keyword "wet"...

One of my complaints with the app (I haven't used it yet, just going by the interesting things you have been posting) is that some of the features of the original cover are lost. For example here download/file.php?id=33685&mode=view. There is a possible solution for that, if you have a program like Photoshop elements. This allows for the selection of an area and then turning it into a layer. If you use that trick you could get something like this.THXDETECTIVE.jpg
I dabbled in Photoshop maaaaany years ago, but today I'm a drag and drop kind of guy (or a crop occasionally as needed). SD reminds me of old time software where you had to do a LOT of things manually and you never quite knew if it would work. If you download and run it locally you have to know what you're doing... it reminds me of UNIX internet. Also, you never know what you're going to get... if you hit reload 10 times you get 10 different versions without changing anything. I look forward to the versions available in a couple of years which should be much more user friendly and effective. But for now for free... I'm digging it

The answer is... I'm not, I'm accessing it via a web form... and it takes 30 seconds or less to see the result. Just drag and drop and mask out what you want replaced. Nothing else. Interpolation is not always the system's strong suit. If something isn't obvious to it (such as the leg under a large skirt... a human knows there's a leg under there and where it goes but the computer doesn't always understand that) it will generate what it thinks should be there. It will on occasion add limbs and do other freaky stuff. I'm sure it will be much improved in a couple of years. Try it out for yourself at https://huggingface.co/spaces/multimoda ... inpainting
Indeed, I find it's anomalies charming. I have written computer scripts/programs for 50+ years. I am fully aware of their single-mindedness. What you can do can make the machine do is totally awesome.

I dabbled in that when 1MB of RAM was impressive (i.e. a long time ago)... and much of it was beyond me... I'm just looking forward to better capability and AI that uses a GUI that involves typing something like "make the assault and rape scene from Eyes of a Stranger longer and more explicit... and use [insert desired hot celebrity name here]." In the meantime at least when you think "I really wish Coco had been topless in that segment" you can at least render some still frames to make that happen...
This guy is in a lot of the cover shots getting to do all sorts of interesting things with the models. And he probably got paid for doing it. Lucky bastard...
