I wonder about a topic that seems not to have been touched on here. The current passes between two electrodes, so placing one on each nipple, for example, results in a current crossing the chest. However, as many Japanese films show--and as PD often does--placing the two electrodes in the same circuit across a single nipple should result in a very localized buzz or burn at that site. Ditto for placing a trode on either side of the clit. That would allow very focused torture and, it would seem to me, something that could cause something more stimulating to watch than simply locking the body and freezing it. Seems that the natural tendency would be, as it appears to be, to make a concerted (and fruitless) effort to get away from the current. Much safer and more attractive. I'm not sure how the AC vs. DC would play out there. Perhaps a bit like linking the two trodes with a wet tongue on a simple battery but with a bit more power and more interesting site. Any help from anyone on this?

Now that could be nice! Twisting and writhing is always a plus for me. As long as the bonds are tight, and the women are genuinely struggling?

I wonder how the whole "hand grab" thing works? As in, some of the women grab onto the bars/framework (or whatever) as they're shocked. is it realistic?

I realize it makes it easier for them to gyrate if they have hard points to grab onto, but it kind of takes me out of the scene.

I think I'd prefer to have them struggle against their cuffs/rope/straps.

petelobo you're right, a lot of the porn electroplay that isn't totally fake, including the scene theelectrician linked, uses closely spaced electrodes around each nipple instead of passing a current between the nipples. Also unlike the authentic picana electrica the play devices are "multichannel" so they can stimulate more than one such isolated area at once without passing current between those isolated areas. Of course the original picana aka cattle prod is kind of like this with two closely-spaced electrodes. But lacking multichannel stims, the actual torturers preferred (one reason the cattle prods were abandoned) to use widely spaced points on the body for stimulation, so as to involve more of the victim's body in the reaction. This is of course not safe either for porn or for sex play, but is what was done to many thousands of actual people.

I have atatched an artwork by a long-ago artist called Haffnium72 - I like a lot of his stuff but this is a great one - so much going for it:

Bad for an interrogator if it happens before all info is extracted from her. (I am sticking to nonconsensual here.) My attitude is that some form of alligator clip is necessary, no taped wires and no goddamn TENS patches. Some time ago I came up an approach that would incorporate three pains in one, electronic (not the big car battery jumper cable ones) alligator clips modified with a needle extending between the jaws. Needle and jaws are anode and cathode, so the current will only attack the nipple tip, ripping across that quarter inch nubbin from sides to center. It would also work great on the clit without going clit-right nipple or clit-left nipple. The combined piercing and biting will also cause pain. Set the power level, choose one or both nipples, and/or the clit, then press the button and watch the show.

When electricity passes through a muscle it contracts (think of those twitching frog leg experiments). So if electricity is passed through the entire body like on those metal frame beds and the gimp's body will tense furiously and arch up as many muscles contract at once. With a small bit of flesh is shocked independently, the desired writhing should result. I am deliberately ignoring head/ear/tongue electro; I like to keep my tortures sexual. Too much current creates the risk of cooking the tissue (Another grade school experiment where you cook a hot dog with electrodes stuck into the ends.) There would be no visible electric sparks with the clips alone, although you could get that with a separate hand held rod; with sufficient power there would be a bright spark, but burning the tissue and ruining the nerves for continued motivation would require a delicate balance. I am, of course, basing my opinions on some extrapolation since I obviously haven't experimented with unwilling subjects, although that would be a worthy and pleasurable endeavor.

Here are three more. Willie (and I) enjoy the preparation as much as the actual torture. So here are two from earlier in the action along with one more awesome mid-shock image. She is forced to strip herself to bra and tiny cunt covering before being bound to the chair and the bra cut away to fully expose her breasts and nipples. That method of binding, with wrist and elbow cuffs is a favorite, as well. Yes, in real life this was a problem the Chileans under Pinochet had when they switched from the cattle prod Picana to using line current, since it will force enough current to stop the heart or even cook the flesh. Their solution to this was to have a doctor present when prisoners were being interrogated who were important enough that their accidental death might be a problem.

This is why the Argentines invented the current-limited picana electrica, which for the most part if you are reasonably healthy will not kill you no matter how it is used and hurts just as much, if not more, than being tortured with line current.

The real torturers generally used wire instead of clips, which can slip off. A loop might be wrapped around the big toe, or a few inches inserted into a man's urethra with more wrapped around the penile shaft to hold it in place. Women would also often be tortured with a metal rod inserted into the vagina as one electrode, and in all those cases the other electrode was often a wand wielded by the torturer, applied at will to whatever part of the victim's body he thought might get their attention most effectively.
