What do you all do if a custom video is just nowhere near what you had requested?

Just received a custom video, and it would be an understatement to say that a huge percentage of my video outline was ignored. Is that something you’d bring up to the producer? I don’t want to ruin my relationship with this creator, as they are very talented, but the video I received is simply not what I paid for. Happy to give specifics if needed.

I had a similar issue with my third or fourth film with Cruel World. They got the script right and everything was staged as I had imagined it (not that I had a lot of specifics), but the model they used had an awful throaty tone like a honking goose. Alex apologized and offered to send me a free video (which I accepted so that I could find a replacement actress which turned out to be Anastasia). In the end, I realized the problem was on my side. I cast Victoria again in the next film and overlooked her goose voice and focused on what she was good at, which was looking pretty under duress. She did her best and I appreciated her effort. If she ever returns to the Cruel World stable, I'd cast her again.

Sometimes the problem is the actress, sometimes it is the producer. And sometimes you ask too much of both of them. Give the producer a chance to make your request right. You might get a free video out of it.

But DAMN she looks nice hanging there.

Yes she did! That's why I cast her in the first movie I scripted. She looked amazing, particularly stretched out and spreadeagled in suspension. That's also why I'd cast her again!

I bought that one yesterday - for my taste it is one their better ones thanks to her performance.
The tortures are (metal) clothes pins, one cigarette burn, a little bit of whipping, a long electro scene, and strangulation.
I think her performance is excellent! She poses with per back in an extreme arch for much of the video. She starts out mostly whimpering through clenched teeth but progresses to full screams as the video goes on, feels pretty believable.
She gives one of the best performances I have seen in electro (again for my taste). When the current is on she arches even more, all muscles are tense, and she makes almost no sound except gurgling as she struggles to breathe. When the current goes off she slumps to the bench and is panting for breath. As I said, and excellent performer.
She is not the prettiest of Alex's actresses, but her performance very much makes up for that. No tattoos visible.
