I just wondered if any of you have read this story and what you thought of it?

I'd love to read some more stories like that one, but I haven't been able to find anything very close to it. Do any of you know of any stories just like that one?

First, I want to thank you for sharing the link.

The foundation of the story is simple and strong enough that the straightforward plot, hinted at by the fourth paragraph, concludes well and is adequately supported. However...

The story is too long. I feel that the author, in an attempt to be detailed, has stretched out the plot excessively. I believe that the process of mummification, exorcising demons, and everything else might be better divided into multiple segments (several shorter stories).

All in all: The beginning of the story grabs the reader's attention nicely, and the ending is humorous and unexpectedly entertaining. My main criticism is the completely unnecessary amount of text, which isn’t uninteresting (far from it), but it is simply tiresome.

And who the heck is Tanya? “Julie, Diana, and Wanda shared a house. (…) Occasionally, Suzanne would join them for their games.” At one point, Diana disappears from the story, and her character is given another name (Part II).

Hello letvor. Thanks for that last post. I agree with what you said. The story would have been easier to read if it had come in several segments. It did have four parts, but I think more would have been better. That didn't spoil the story for me though

You are not the first to notice the change of name and you are right. I think that was a mistake that should have been spotted before the story was copied to other websites, but it wasn't. There is no excuse for that.
