Why mind? He shoot many photos of her, dancing under the whip.
I meant the pictures in my head were very nice.
To the best of my knowledge, Alex' hangings are real, meaning no trick photography, no sleight of hand editing, no special props.

Her features become quite distorted when she is hanging, indicating the amount of discomfort she is actually feeling. But kudos to her because she is gutsy for agreeing to do this.
The actresses are actually hanging by a "noose" around their neck, although Alex' nooses are noticeably larger and "safer" and "more comfortable" than actual rope.
And the "nooses" are positioned in such a way that her windpipe isn't endangered, and the position of the "noose" places less stress on the cervical (neck) vertebrae? Though I think he's treading a thin line and endangering his actresses. The vertebrae and spinal column are actually quite fragile, in my estimation. But he has success, so far.
Hanging is one of the most difficult "stunts" to pull off, and different producers use different techniques, all I think much safer than real hanging like what Alex does.
Some of the most realistic hanging videos were done by Roadkill Films, and involved different props and stage setups, and some judicious editing. "Hitchhiker", starring Tessa, remains one of my favorites. "Cattle Kitty" starring Sharon Flint was also pretty good, and the one starring Ashley Lane fell a little short of the mark because the stage setup was sort of sloppy, no slight on Ashley, who was great.
Anyway, sorry for the long post.
