I think Alex DOES care when someone buys one of his movies and then makes it available free on another site. Every one of his movies has an initial screen that asks people NOT to do that! The guy makes his living selling the videos. I think the Gimp's values have always been that material (other than caps) that belong to an active producer are not to be stolen from him.
