I actually don't mind electrical tape for electrotorture. It's another of those "classic" looks, but I know what you guys mean.

When expect lame, mild shaking to simulate the act they might work. But realistically, on a sweaty, violently shaking person they will fly away quickly.

And while we're ranting, take a look at this image. Can you spot the glaring flaw(s)?

Yes! and high heels.

As to the picture, loose arm strap, glasses on (removing glasses is part of the humiliation, at least it was a big part of it in the novel The 25th Hour), the taped wires, as has been already stated. On top of it, the tape is not over the nipples. Also, why leave the garment under her, no need to make her comfy.

When the western spy was ordered outside by the KGB agents at gunpoint, she thought it in her best interest to obey.

Another small experiment combining AI and a little Photopea, the poor man's Photoshop.
